Brian A. Abramson, a Houston native, joined The Lanier Law Firm's Bankruptcy Litigation Group in February 2011. Brian's practice centers on bankruptcy-related litigation as well as all stages of the commercial chapter 11 and chapter 7 process. Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, Brian was an associate attorney at two premier Houston law firms, where his practice focused initially on complex commercial litigation matters, and then on debt restructuring and corporate reorganizations for commercial entities.
Brian received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2005. While at Texas, Brian was elected to the Chancellor's Society and the Order of the Coif, and served on the Texas Law Review. Brian also holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with high honors in 2002.
Brian is licensed to practice law in Texas, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
He and his wife, Lori, have two children, Ethan and Sydney.
