Bridget B. Truxillo is an associate with The Lanier Law Firm in New York City where she represents plaintiffs who have been hurt by unsafe drugs and products as well as by toxic exposure.
Born in Louisiana, Ms. Truxillo moved to Florida and earned a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Horticulture at the University of Florida. She went on to complete police academy training in Florida before joining the Alachua County Sheriff's Office in Gainesville, where she worked in the Undercover Narcotics Unit and served as the only female member of the office's SWAT team. She left the sheriff's office to attend law school at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, where she earned her law degree in December 2007.
During law school, Ms. Truxillo was a member of the Mock Trial team and Pi Alpha Delta. Her law schoolwork included studying abroad in El Escorial, Spain. Ms. Truxillo is licensed to practice in Texas and Florida.
Ms. Truxillo now resides in New York where she enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching sports, especially football games featuring the Florida Gators.
