Catherine Heacox Catherine Heacox represents individuals who have been injured by dangerous drugs and products, medical negligence and toxic exposure. For more than a decade, Ms. Heacox has focused her practice on complex civil litigation including pharmaceutical and product liability mass tort actions, personal injury actions and environmental injury matters. Through her tireless efforts, the rights of numerous injured people have been vindicated.

Ms. Heacox earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1992 after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in 1989, graduating with high honors. Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, Ms. Heacox practiced law at the firms of Weitz & Luxenberg, and Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla.

Ms. Heacox is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey; Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of New York; and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She is a member of several legal organizations, including the American Association for Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and American Association of Trial Lawyers - New Jersey. Ms. Heacox is the co-author of "An Antidote to Pre-emption," published in Trial magazine in February 2002.

Actively involved in neighborhood activities, Ms. Heacox resides in Manhattan with her husband, Jonathan Cushing, and their son, Griffin. She has a great affection for the outdoors with avid interests in sailing, hiking, skiing and cycling.
