Hogene Choi is an associate in the Palo Alto office of The Lanier Law Firm. Ms. Choi's practice focuses on high-stakes intellectual property disputes. She joined the firm in 2009 after two years with a prominent global firm that specializes in intellectual property litigation and prosecution.
Ms. Choi earned her law degree after graduating from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Ms. Choi spent her final semester of law school working as the patent case extern for the Honorable Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to law school, she earned a degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley and then spent four years as a software engineer and another four years in technical management. During this time, she gained experience in a broad array of technologies.
Ms. Choi is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, all U.S. District Courts in California, the Eastern District of Texas, and the Western District of Wisconsin.
Ms. Choi lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Telly.
