John W. Maniscalco is an attorney at The Lanier Law Firm’s Houston office, where he represents plaintiffs in litigation matters as well as having a role in the Issues and Appeals practice area. John, who graduated from Texas Tech University, Cum Laude in 2008 and Texas Tech School of Law, Cum Laude in 2011, grew up in and around the legal world which gave him a great appreciation for the justice system and the role it plays in ensuring that client’s have a champion in their corner.

In school, John served on the Executive Board for the Texas Tech Law Review, actively participated as a Board of Barristers Member where he was awarded Moot Court Top Oralist. John was active with the Student Bar Association, serving as the 3L student representative for the school’s Honor Council, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and Vice president of the Red Raider Bar Association. John also served as a Dean’s Community Teaching Fellow where he mentored high school students with an interest in pursuing a career in law.

John’s commitment was awarded with such honors as the CALI Award for highest grade in Legal Writing & Research, the American Jurisprudence Award in Banking Law as well as being named to the Dean’s List for 2009, 2010 and 2011.

John is admitted to the bar for Texas, a member of the American Bar Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
