Matthew J. Worrall joined The Lanier Law Firm as an associate, in 2010, to focus in the areas of asbestos related injuries and toxic tort litigation. Matt is a native of Houston, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Texas A&M University in 2006 and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2009.
During law school, Matt was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship for academic merit and he clerked for Judge Jennifer Elrod, in the 190th district court, while she awaited 5th Circuit senate approval. He also spent a summer working as an intern for one of the top construction law firms in the Southwestern United States.
Outside of work, Matt stays active in the community by participating in Boys and Girls Club of America and coaching youth league sports. Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He enjoys running, traveling, softball, the outdoors and is an avid sports fan.
