Phillip N. Sanov is an associate with The Lanier Law Firm, working in all areas of civil litigation with a primary focus on the firm's commercial litigation cases involving antitrust, patents and other commercial disputes.
Mr. Sanov was born and raised in Gladewater, Texas, and earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1987. Mr. Sanov graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1990. Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, Mr. Sanov was an associate at a major downtown firm and also tried many cases to verdict as a solo practitioner.
Mr. Sanov has substantial experience representing clients in personal injury, criminal defense and family law. Before joining The Lanier Law Firm, Mr. Sanov was co-founder and president of a litigation support technology company and he continues to use his talents in audio-visual presentations and trial technology as a member of the firm's trial team. Mr. Sanov has primary responsibility for implementing and overseeing the firm's use of courtroom technology.
Mr. Sanov is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, and The Christian Trial Lawyers Association. Actively involved in leading Student Ministry at Faithbridge United Methodist Church, as well as being a continual coach and volunteer for youth sports leagues, he and his wife Janet live in Houston with their children Ally, Alec, Addy and Niko.
