Sara A. Morton is an associate at The Lanier Law Firm in the areas of toxic tort litigation and asbestos related injuries.
Ms. Morton is a native of Houston, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2002, and attended the South Texas College of Law in Houston, where she earned her law degree in 2005.
While in law school Ms. Morton was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship and F. Jane Yount Scholarship for academic merit and interest in International Law. She participated in the college's international programs, studying at the University of Malta in Malta and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Ms. Morton later worked as an intern for the First Court of Appeals under Justice Tim Taft.
Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, Ms. Morton worked with a well-known plaintiff's firm practicing mass tort litigation, and she later practiced with Rymer Moore Jackson & Echols, a Houston-based civil defense law firm.
Ms. Morton was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2005 and she is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
