The Lanier Law Firm successfully represented Southern Methodist University in the settlement of a 4-year legal dispute over ownership.  of land near the planned site for the George W. Bush Presidential Library. The agreement announced July 24, 2009, concludes legal actions filed by two former condominium owners who disputed the university's claims to the property. In a story published in The New York Times, Mark Lanier says the settlement provides SMU with undisputed ownership of the land.
