Edward W. Fudge – In MEMORIAM (1944 – 2017)


Until his passing on November 25, 2017, Edward W. Fudge served as Of Counsel to The Lanier Law Firm.  He had many years of trial experience in personal injury and civil litigation cases. An ordained minister, Mr. Fudge earned a degree in Biblical Languages in 1967 from Abilene Christian University, where he earned his Master’s Degree the following year.

In his more than 45 years as a pastor, teacher and lecturer, Mr. Fudge wrote and published numerous books and articles on the topics of Christianity and the Bible, and maintained an active Internet ministry. In the mid-1980s, Mr. Fudge began his pursuit of a law degree, which he earned from the University of Houston Law Center in 1988. He was a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association and State Bar of Texas.

During his esteemed legal career, Mr. Fudge was recognized by both “Who’s Who in Law” and “Who’s Who in Religion.” He is survived by his wife Sara to whom he was married since 1967 , two children and four grandchildren.  He will be missed.
