Personal Background
Ms. Hubert was born in Houston and raised in Gladewater, Texas. After graduating, she began a private law practice, in Austin, Texas. In addition, she donated her skills to AIDS Services of Austin and pro bono activities.
Soon after her return to Houston, Ms. Hubert joined the Lanier Law Firm, where she has continued her charitable, pro bono and professional endeavors. Felicia enjoys working in her garden, obsessing over true crime stories and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She lives in Houston, with her husband Jeffrey, and their ever-growing family of fur babies.

Chaffin v. WPX Energy Permian, LLC.:
Ms. Hubert represented an oil field worker who was injured when an oil company employee opened the incorrect valve, causing a pressurization of the well, striking the Mr. Chaffin with highly pressurized iron, fluids and drilling materials, causing excruciatingly painful injuries. The settlement amount is confidential.
Wharton v. BLT Tanks:
This case involved an 18-wheeler carrying used propane tanks, whose driver neglected to slow for traffic conditions, struck numerous vehicles that were stopped on the roadway, causing a fiery explosion which killed Mr. Wharton’s daughter and two others. The case was filed in Denton County, Texas. The settlement amount is confidential.
- Ms. Hubert represented a gentleman who was suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries when the Defendant negligently changed lanes when unsafe in an attempt to get back on the main lanes after exiting the Katy Freeway, causing his truck to go airborne. The Defendant’s truck landed on top of the Plaintiff’s vehicle, causing serious and permanent brain injuries to the Plaintiff. The parties involved and settlement amounts are confidential.
- Ms. Hubert represented the wife and daughter of a gentleman who did not survive an accident caused by a tanker truck driver who failed to stop at an intersection of two state highways. The collision caused the rupture of the 18-wheeler’s gas tank, resulting in both vehicles catching fire, trapping the gentleman in his vehicle. He was not able to escape and passed away at the scene of the accident. The parties involved and the settlement amounts are confidential.
