HOUSTON — The Lanier Law Firm’s Richard “Rick” Meadow has been named to the Executive Committee of The National Trial Lawyers Association, a prestigious professional organization composed of the premier trial lawyers from across the country who exemplify superior qualifications as civil plaintiff or criminal defense trial lawyers. The group provides networking opportunities, advocacy training, and educational programs for its members.
Mr. Meadow, the firm’s National Mass Tort Leader and Director Business Development, has been a practicing trial attorney for more than 30 years and has successfully tried more than 25 cases to verdict. Mr. Meadow was a member of the Lanier Law Firm Trial Team that successfully tried three cases against Merck, the manufacturer of the drug Vioxx. Mr. Meadow established the New York office of the Lanier Law Firm in 2004 and helped grow that office as well as the Lanier Law Firm Houston office into a national powerhouse trial firm.
“The National Trial Lawyers Association is the premier association for civil and criminal trial lawyers. It is a respected and valuable asset for practicing attorneys across the nation, and I’m honored to be selected for this leadership role,” says Mr. Meadow. “Because the organization includes lawyers from both the plaintiff and defense bar, there are outstanding opportunities to share ideas and strategies from the diverse perspectives of the membership.”
