Lanier Partner Firm ETL Associates, Inc. Chosen as Exclusive Provider of Corporate Sponsorships
Following an exhaustive search to find the right partner in its quest to secure new corporate sponsorships, The Maxwell Football Club (MFC) announced a two-year exclusive agreement with ETL Associates, Inc. (ETL) of New York City.
ETL, led by Eugene T. Lee has been hired to help steward the MFC into a new era of its evolution as the patriarch of football clubs in America. ETL will be in charge of aligning the MFC’s signature honors, the Maxwell Award (college player of the year), the Bednarik Award (college defensive player of the year) and the Bert Bell Award (NFL player of the year), with a presenting partner of equal clout and prestige. Lee and his team will also be tasked with spreading the MFC brand to a larger, worldwide audience, while employing cutting-edge technology and social media channels to better connect with the growing legions of fans in college football across the world.
“When we began looking for the right teammate to support us in the area of corporate sponsorships and branding, we wanted to locate a firm that matched our work ethic, integrity and appreciation for the history of the Club,” said MFC Executive Director Mark Wolpert. “In Eugene and ETL, we found those qualities, and we’re very excited about the future of our relationship”.
An attorney and NFL agent, Lee has been using innovative techniques for more than a decade to maximize the earnings potential of his clients by mining marketing opportunities and endorsement deals with multinational organizations. In 2011, he and his firm were featured in the highly-acclaimed ESPN Films documentary “The Dotted Line” directed by Academy Award nominee Morgan Spurlock. The documentary shed light on the business of athlete representation, showcasing ETL as a refreshing departure from the stereotype of the industry. An exception to the rule among agents, Lee was widely hailed for staying true to his principles, working tirelessly and representing his clients with the utmost integrity.
“I couldn’t be more honored about the alliance we’ve formed with The Maxwell Football Club,” offered Lee. “I’ve always considered the Club to be a first-rate organization that champions the endearing qualities of the game of football. Over the past year, though, I’ve also learned that it’s run by first-rate individuals. Our team is determined to spread the mission of the MFC to a whole new generation of fans worldwide, while utilizing all of today’s most advanced tools and media platforms to tap into the expertise of one of the most knowledgeable and passionate fan bases in American sports.”
