Personal Background
Alex Henthorn is an attorney on the Business Litigation team at The Lanier Law Firm. Since joining the firm in December 2023, he has contributed to complex litigation matters involving antitrust law, opioid litigation, and qui tam actions brought under the False Claims Act. His work includes representing whistleblowers in False Claims Act litigation, assisting in antitrust matters involving major technology companies, and contributing to nationwide opioid litigation. He is frequently involved in key stages of litigation and supports teams across a variety of practice areas.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex represented creditors and financial institutions with a focus on default servicing and bankruptcy matters. He managed cases from start to finish, including clearing title issues, preparing legal documents, attending hearings and sheriff’s sales, engaging in discovery, and overseeing post-judgment proceedings.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Alex graduated as valedictorian of his high school class before earning a B.B.A. in Finance with distinction from the University of Oklahoma. He remained at OU for law school, where he was an active member of the Business Law Society. During his summers, he interned at a small Oklahoma firm, gaining practical experience in business transactions, estate planning, workers’ compensation, and aviation law.
Outside of work, Alex is an avid golfer and basketball player who enjoys spending time with friends and family—especially while cheering on Oklahoma athletics.
