HOUSTON – Eight attorneys from The Lanier Law Firm have been named among the best in the nation in the 2019 edition of the prestigious legal publication The Best Lawyers in America. The firm’s attorneys are recognized across five distinct practice areas.

Firm founder Mark Lanier is named in four categories: Commercial Litigation, Mass Tort Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation. Last month, Mr. Lanier secured a $4.69 billion verdict on behalf of 22 women who developed ovarian cancer as a result of longtime use of asbestos-laced talcum powder made by Johnson & Johnson. Lanier Law Firm Attorneys Named Among New York’s Best

Firm lawyers recognized for work in class actions, cases involving dangerous products

NEW YORK – Eight attorneys from the New York office of The Lanier Law Firm have been named among the best in the state with their listing on the 2016 New York Metro Super Lawyers and New York Metro Rising Stars lists by the publishers of Super Lawyers.

Catherine Heacox and David Kuttles earned spots on the Super Lawyers list for their work for plaintiffs injured by dangerous products. Evan M. Janush, Managing Attorney for the firm’s New York office, was selected to the exclusive list for his representation of plaintiffs in class actions against some of the world’s most recognizable companies. This year marks the fourth consecutive Super Lawyers selections for Ms. Heacox and Mr. Janush and the first for Mr. Kuttles.
