How Common Are OSHA Violations in Texas Refineries?

OSHA violations, we see that they are really very common. I think it would be fair to say that on a daily basis, at almost every significant facility in Texas, there are OSHA violations occurring. The only ones that we hear about is when something terrible happens and OSHA goes in to investigate. When it does that, it’s extremely rare that OSHA comes back with say just one finding. Normally, OSHA will come back with many findings of many violations. So what does that tell us? It’s not that the company had just a bad day where it had a bunch of OSHA violations that occurred, it tells us that what we have is probably a company that has had many OSHA violations over a period of time. Most of the time when those OSHA violations occur, nothing bad happens. The time you investigate and the time you look into them is when something bad happens and then you look at it and you discover there were a lot of breakdowns occurring here.
