How Involved Do I Have To Be in the Asbestos Claim Process?

Video transcript:

This is a good question and it’s a question we get very often is what is this gonna mean for me? How much do I have to do? And what I always tell people is that all, all litigation involves some work, and what they need to know though, is we’re gonna do our level best to make sure that we do all the heavy lifting when it comes to the legal part of this.

Yes, we’ll get with you, we’ll go over your work history extensively, we’ll show you pictures of products that you might have worked with, we’ll talk to your coworkers, we’ll talk to your family members, we may have you sign affidavits, we may do your deposition. Your case could go to trial. That’s the exception, not the rule. Most cases do settle, and that’s true with every litigation, but certainly with asbestos litigation. We’re going to do our best to make sure that we handle the legal part and that you have time to spend with your family, and you can concentrate on your health and living your life, as best you can, and managing your illness.
