Personal Background

Angela Spoede is a senior attorney in the Houston office. Angela’s practice areas include appeals, personal injury, and complex litigation matters. As a member of the Lanier Law Firm’s issues and appeals team, her practice focuses on legal research and written advocacy.

Angela joined the Lanier Law Firm in 2024. She began her legal career in 2007 as a law clerk at the First Court of Appeals in Houston and continued to serve there, eventually as a senior staff attorney, for seventeen years. Angela draws on her previous experience as a teacher, in addition to her insight as a wife and mom, to provide thorough and compassionate legal advice. She loves cheering for her kids and spending time with her family or engaging in hobbies like playing the oboe in her church orchestra.
