Case A. Dam

Senior Attorney
Mesothelioma & Asbestos

Personal Background

Case A. Dam is a Los Angeles mesothelioma lawyer that joined The Lanier Law Firm in 2013. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Case earned his bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in 2000 and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2004. Since graduating, he has zealously represented injured plaintiffs suffering from malignant mesothelioma, asbestos-related cancer, and asbestosis.

Case is licensed to practice and represents clients in mesothelioma cases in Florida, California, and Illinois.

Case has gained deep knowledge of asbestos products through his years of experience as an attorney, along with the dedication and drive he brings to every case. His easygoing nature also makes it easy for him to build strong, positive relationships with clients. Case has built a reputation among clients for combining strong results with a personal touch, leaving many feeling like they gained a trusted advocate rather than just an attorney. When Case is not practicing law, he coaches youth football, baseball, and basketball, and enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, and going to concerts with his wife and children.

Representative Cases

Case has served as a trial and appellate attorney for clients exposed to asbestos in a variety of circumstances, including veterans of the United States Armed Services, automotive mechanics, shipyard workers, underground water and sewer pipe installers, carpenters, ironworkers, millwrights, boiler repairmen, plumbers, laborers, doctors, teachers, smokers of asbestos filtered cigarettes, as well as persons unknowingly exposed to asbestos products from laundering their family members’ work clothes. Case has successfully secured over $100 million for his clients since he started practicing law in 2004.

California Asbestos Exposure

Case and members of the Lanier Law Firm’s California asbestos team secured more than $8 million for an 89-year-old man who was diagnosed with mesothelioma and exposed to asbestos for two and a half years.
