We have had over the years a lot of cases where our clients worked at a shipyard. I’m thinking about a case that we had where a client didn’t really work on ships but worked in a shipyard in particular and we looked to see what exposures were there in terms of products where the companies had gone bankrupt.
Based on the research that we’ve done over the years, we’re going to know some of the products that our client was for the most part exposed to. This client in particular knew some products that he had exposure to, but didn’t know all of them. He remembered exact names of products. He remembered packaging, where he worked and what the years were, the relevant years. He was able to give us enough information to put together affidavit for his signature. We put those together, filed a number of trust claims for the client, and were able to get him compensation.
