One other benefit I think from The Lanier Law Firm’s experience of going against corporations like Google or Meta or TikTok or Snap or whatever it is, is that we’re used to the day-to-day fight that they’re going to bring.
An attorney general’s office is not used to suing Meta every day and understanding what they’re going to do and how, what their tricks are and how they’re going to try to just delay, delay, delay, use up resources, and basically just overwhelm an attorney general’s office.
And so what we can do, and this isn’t hands-off litigation, we work day-to-day with an attorney general’s office with their departments to say, “Look, we’re on the team. How do we lead this investigation? And how do we make it so that we can use our expertise and our experience of winning against them, of winning billions of dollars in opioid litigation and settling hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid fraud that goes back to the state and back to the federal government? How do we use that experience to help you in the state pursue the people that have wronged the state and wronged the citizens?”
