Lanier Law Firm Opens Fort Worth Office

Renowned firm sees growing litigation opportunities in dynamic region

FORT WORTH – The Lanier Law Firm is branching out with its second Texas location, opening an office in the Clearfork region of southwest Fort Worth. Nationally respected for representing clients in high-stakes personal injury, mesothelioma, and product liability cases, the firm’s office is led by Sam Taylor, a native and longtime resident of the region.

“I have great relationships with many attorneys in the area, having previously practiced here for many years before joining the Lanier firm in 2014,” says Mr. Taylor. “We believe there’s a great opportunity to establish referral arrangements and take on new cases with a presence in Fort Worth, and I’m excited to get back to my roots in that regard.”

As lead counsel Mr. Taylor has tried over 40 personal injury jury trials, including cases involving wrongful death and serious personal injuries resulting from truck wrecks, automobile and motorcycle accidents, train crossings, medical and dental malpractice, and construction site injuries.

Mr. Taylor and the firm are currently representing six families who lost children in the Camp Mystic flooding, and firm attorneys are serving as outside counsel for the state of Texas in a groundbreaking lawsuit filed in Johnson County against the largest manufacturers of so-called “forever chemicals,” alleging that the defendants knowingly made misrepresentations and key omissions in advertising the safety of their products.

In a federal case in the Eastern District of Texas, the firm is serving as lead trial counsel in the multi-state antitrust lawsuit against the tech giant Google, alleging deceptive and abusive practices that stifle competition and force consumers to pay higher prices. Firm attorneys are also involved in a class action filed in federal court in Dallas against a national parking management company whose operations are allegedly designed to confuse and deceive Consumers into paying unauthorized fees and fines.

Most recently, a Lanier trial team secured $6 million in compensatory and punitive damages against Meta and Instagram in the first bellwether trial on allegations that major social media companies have knowingly caused addictive behaviors and serious mental health issues through their platforms.
