Mark Lanier Inducted into Lawdragon Leading Lawyers Hall of Fame

Mark Lanier Lawdragon Hall of Fame Class of 2026

The firm’s Mark Lanier has been inducted into the Lawdragon Hall of Fame class of 2026.

The honor is the most recent professional recognition for Mr. Lanier, who founded The Lanier Law Firm in 1990 and has earned a reputation as one of the most respected and sought-after litigators in the nation. Mr. Lanier is among the 102 Hall of Fame attorneys honored this year, and one of only 25 in Texas.

According to the publication’s editor, this is 11th year for Lawdragon to recognize a “treasure trove of lawyers who have stood the test of time. By which we mean, they have advocated, advised, argued and analyzed on behalf of their clients, changing laws, lives, countries and commerce for, typically, at least 40 years.”

During the past 30 years, Mr. Lanier has achieved almost $20 billion in verdicts by taking on some of the biggest challenges in the legal field. These outcomes have changed business practices to protect the public and have gained justice for the victims of asbestos exposure, dangerous drugs, medical devices and other consumer products. In addition, he has successfully represented a select number of clients in business litigation claims.

“This is a great honor, as I know it comes from the recommendations of those attorneys I have been allied with and in opposition to during my years in the courtroom and in negotiations,” said Mr. Lanier. “I also want to acknowledge the tremendous support of the attorneys and staff at our firm who make everything possible.”
