Mainstays Stove Heater Fire Warning

My name is Jud Waltman. I’m an attorney at the Lanier law firm. I’m here today to talk about a potentially hazardous product. What we’re talking about is the Mainstay 3D electric stove. Mainstay is a brand that’s sold at Walmart and other retailers, and the Texas fire marshals are investigating 3 fatal fires now related to these feeders. The issue appears to be one of two things one. The Heater does not have an automatic cut off that turns the heater off if it tips over, which is a potential fire hazard. 2 Texas fire marshals are also investigating whether or not the legs on the bottom of the stove that are plastic get hot enough to melt and cause a tip over. If you or one of your loved ones has one of these electric stoves, please take note of this potential danger and use all precautions when using it.
