Mr. Taschner has represented clients from more than a dozen countries in cases before state and federal courts in the United States, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, and arbitration proceedings spanning the globe. He previously served as an Attorney Settlement Officer for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in cases involving class-action and product liability claims. He also is a member of the WIPO International Panel of Arbitrators. Mr. Taschner is a former national co-chair of the Federal Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee, and he was selected by the American Bar Association as the Sole Practitioner of the Year in 1998 among a field of more than 200,000 lawyers in North America.
